Scans taken from my summer 2004 sketchbook, No.29. All scans are from A4 pages and the artwork uses No.6 or 8 brushes in Cryla Acrylic. The idea is to use the same equipment/media that we use in school onto the same paper which should help my teaching. Most of the studies are very quick to finish, some as little as 10 or 15 minutes, the longer ones up to an hour and a half. There is little need to worry about coverage since the acrylic dries so fast. Having said that, it really helps if you are prepared to work very quickly, acrylic painting is an edge-of-the-seat urgent process at times.
