These images are exported straight out of the Inventor viewport. They are as seen on screen The basic model was built in about 40 minutes so this a very fast program to use. Once a poke is made using a SWEEP it can easily be repeated 5 or 6 times about an axis. The bolt holes are reproduced in the same way and are again- very quick to modify.
Another important feature is parametric modeling, dimensions can be linked to each other, the links may sometimes include scaling factors such as (d1*2.5) d1 being another constraint. It should be possible to make a whole model that takes dimensions from a single constraint which can then be scaled up or down. This seems very good in exercises to make things fit.

The outer rim was a simple revolve using a profile that included the hub.
